Zalmarath, The Colossus Knife Drag Bug

The animation/damage/hitbox seems to be bugged at the minute for Zalmarath, The Colossus.
It will oneshot virtually any character doing act2 in some conditions, whether or not you hug him, I've already lost two HC characters to him even when overprepared with 1K armor but sometimes you just get unlucky and get oneshot randomly. Here is video evidence of both times: https://streamable.com/o6tt7o Here i didn't know the strategy and went in blind, fair enough, still the damage calculation is wrong and the telegraph is absent for such an ability. (Sorry for the shouting, I was surprised) https://streamable.com/ejkm7r Here i did everything right strategy-wise and had over 1K armour which is overkill at that stage in the act. Still got oneshot not even close to the stab/dagger animation. Bump if you also experienced this. It is random and will not happen all the time so the only way to progress past this in HC atm is to be lucky + have a lot of DPS to make the fight shorter and avoid the bug happening. Don't bump your own post. You're just going to annoy them on a legitimate issue.
This continues to happen to my char also, w/ 900 HP and decent armor. It seems like the dagger push ability will spray projectiles when it completes, and if it hits you prior to the spray location, it seems that all the projectiles shotgun you down. This shouldn't be a one-shot ability, as it is a very quick attack without a windup, and the damage is completely off from all other abilities (nothing else the boss does takes my character down below 75% HP). Please look into this unfair mechanic GGG. Thank you. |

been nailed by this twice. had 950hp and 50% armor on one of my guys.

Please fix the sword drag bug, Just ripped HC again to this and is completely unjust in the game after this many reports.

quinn 69 tried it. doesn't matter if 4k or 10k hp.
boss did same exact hit. it will do ..... same dmg, same,same dmg....... 1 unblockable 1 shot randomly. |
