How do people not have enough gold to experiment?
People here are saying that the respec costs are too high, but at lvl 85, I am easily making 20k gold per map. I have so much gold that I could probably change my entire skill tree four times and still not be out of gold.
Not only that, but I have enough support skill gems, skill gems, and spirit skill gems to try probably 4-5 new different builds if I wanted to. Am I missin something, or are people playing the game wrong? Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 3:01:21 AM

yeah its easier for the people that are at that point in the game but for the people still going through the cruel acts it will be much harder and way more time consuming. now that the builds that were carrying us got gutted, it will take even more time to get enough gold.

Most people think this is PoE 1 and don't loot anything that's not yellow or above, so they got nothing to sell. Almost half if not more of your gold income comes from selling whites and blues at least at the start of the game (campaign).

The guy who no-lifed for 5 days and has been abusing OP stuff to endgame has lots of gold? No way!
Folks who are late 30s to 50 are blowing their gold trying to replace low level gear that got them there so they can boost this new cool thing they discovered(or copied). So they get "cast on X", blow their resources, and then get bricked by a patch. |

It's not a thing about gold, but in EA everything is in a turmoil after patching. GGG should lower the respec cost to 10% in the EA phase. GGG would get more data from different skills/ builds.

Dude. You did not have enough gold or gems to experiment during the campaign. This is EA. You should be able to experiment during the campaign without getting massively punished. Especially when they're completely gutting peoples builds.
Only someone completely disconnected from reality could post this. Time to take a shower I think mate. The only people who are lvl 80+ have effectively nolifed the game. |

Just start a new char. Gameplay is fast enough so you can get a to the same point in 20 hours so you can start a new char after that, because it's early access.

If one got time to play 50 hours the first few days,
one could just rush to maps without issues, skill were massive broken. Now it just feels like campaign design is intentionaly slowing you down. And they patch every single thing they can so it feels slower atm, gatekeeping maps right now. |

Crazy idea.
What about the people that want to respec BEFORE lvl 85 and 20k gold per map? You know, maybe you realize your build is a piece of dogs**t around lvl 30 and want to switch it up? Yep, then you can forget about it. Last edited by eldheim#2436 on Dec 12, 2024, 3:01:46 AM
