Story Progression Bug : Lachlann

Help!
Instead of following Lachlann and talking to him I used the portal to empty my stash back in town.
when I returned via the portal to speak to Lachlann I'm now missing the prompt to talk to him and cant progress the mission !

Anyone any ideas how to resolve this ?
