Trials of Sekhema feedback
" I completely agree. I'm lvl 86, did about 6 runs of the trials, last 3 were with 75% resist and 4k honour through relics. Last run made me quit the game entirely. I've reached the final boss with great boons, I was killing it, having a good time, the boss reaches the phase where you have to collect the hourglass. One of them spawns in a corner where I couldn't see it. Boom, trial over, 1 shotted, 1 hour lost in a terrible terrible trial. Second to last one I reached the final boss, I got the boon that reduces the damage done by 40%, which by the way was put in the game by a psychopath, and I was doing NO DAMAGE to the boss at all while constantly running out of mana. In conclusion, I agree, the trials are the absolute worst piece of content I've ever played in a game in my entire life and doing 4 floors of it with one life and horrific afflictions is at least criminal. It literally made me quit the game and it's probably for the best. In my opinion there's a simple fix. For each floor you completed, you get 1 life, at the 4th floor you have 3 lives. This way you can learn the boss mechanics and you can circumvent bullshit 1 shot deaths from monsters. I would do this only for Ascension points. If you want to run the trials for loot, go for it. But for ascension, that's my take on it. |

Let's not mention melee but even ranges are suffering.
Mainly lack of research. Its easier once you get resistance, max honour and more importantly ... able to see 1 room ahead. Most people that complain usually rush in and just go 1 direction .. .I wanna reach to the end mentality ... thus you will see them mentioning afflictions. With the ability to see 1 room ahead, you can plan your path. another is greed / ignorance Why take a random Affliction ? dun risk it ... If its a Shrine + boon o yes but if the next path is multiple afflictions ... Why go that direction , lured by a boon ? Why go to a path which will force you to get affliction when you can be planning ahead which path to avoid those paths or choices that force you to pick only one route. I rather take a dreaded gaunlet and go a longer way then be lazy and take the easy Escape only to land myself with 1 or even 2 afflictions. see for yourself, most people I talk to, dun even know they can avoid .. .they will just lazly say .. oo its like that ... they cant be bothered saving themselves sometimes the source of issue isnt the game .. .it's the thing between the table and the chair Last edited by s0rasan#5995 on Jan 16, 2025, 7:07:06 PM

I really have a problem only with bosses.
Waste time to get coin Waste time to get through two floors Die to oneshot/stutter/lag on a boss Go back to farming for who knows how long to get another try |

The entire premise is just so tedious. So, yeah, hopeful this gets a big old pass as the ascendancy system can be whatever they want, but I just hope it'd be as fun as the rest of the campaign. This is not it.
