As Steamcharts is easily accessible by everyone to check this, you are either weirdly bad at reading big numbers, or being disingenuous to support your argument. I'll assume the former.

The actual numbers today are: 464,307 (24 hour peak), 578,562 (all-time peak). As a comparison, if the bogglingly high retention isn't enough for you, PoE's all-time peak is 229,337.

Those numbers are utterly unprecedented, and don't include the standalone client or Epic client, for which you can add conservatively another 100k. I have some issue with elements of the game too, but you can't argue with the numbers.
