Same, have gotten a couple of inscribed ultimatums that have said they will grant me ascendancy, yet when i portal there i cannot. I don't know if i missed it the first go-around because the portal seems to take me to the first act. I'm not sure though. Love the game though. A couple of hidden things that a newcomer like me missed out on, like lightning res and some other boss that i can't complete now. The azog bog or what her name is. Who rides her broom... :)
