POE2 - Unable to Complete "Ascent to Power" in Cruel Difficulty

Had this issue for a few days now. Cannot get more ascendancy points. Surprised this has not been fixed yet.

Same thing here,I can't progress further with the quest,I can't get it to progress no matter how many times I kill Balbala.
I did get a key for the Trial before getting the quest from the NPC so I wonder if this is the problem? |
