Temple of Chaos is overtuned

that is a rude thing to call customers who would rather move along than make these embarrassing posts
Step 1 is to self reflect.
Emberassing posts like posting: "lol, afk content" in a feedback thread about an obviously overtuned league mechanic that literally everybody hates right now?

And suggesting carries instead of suggesting that GGG improves the game is just as emberassing...A game full of carries and bots that spam global with RMT offers, yeah nice. And in 2025, lmao

All trials even Sekhemas are glorified equipment checks, be it relics + gear or just gear for chaos. In my opinion when you are committed to ascend and don't need any of the other awards both trials should be easier and mechanics like Honour Resistance should be removed.

you have to be kidding me

Lvl 42 and the trials leading up to the boss aren't the issue with just some difficulty if you get bad RNG for the debuffs... it's the boss that's overtuned. Its precision targeting blood vomit thing, that tracks you everywhere just does so much damage, it insta-melts over 1.5k of health/shield and you don't even get time to heal. Restarting over and over just to get one-shotted feels like a massive miss by GGG. It's just not fun at this point. Seriously tempted to just quit and wait for the next patch and hope they read some comments, as trying to ascend is straight up boring af as it stands.
I agree that for the QUEST version of Chaos it's a bit too much. Later in the game it's actually pretty doable for most characters.

I would like to see them adjust the quest version only to tone it down a bit. I think the best way is to give nodes a level 0 option that only exists with the level 38 quest token. That way you are still learning and seeing what all the mod options are but the first time you pick it you get the baby version. If you pick the same mod a second time, then you get the level 1 version we already know.

And the tornado bird needs a little more warning (at all levels) for his attack, in melee I could never get away from him in time and even on ranged it was an issue. I'm fine with the damage of it, just give a little more warning.

He twists his arms, er, wings a bit charging up a spin which then unleashes the tornado. Gives you roughly 1 sec to react, but helps a lot to pay attention to this.
Yep, had the wind one the last 3 bosses in a row. He does telegraph his attack slightly but if you are 0.1 second out from dodging, it's a restart. Last run it wasn't even that, just had a random 1 shot which didn't even seem to be any attack that I could see on screen. Also had the cyclone attack completely block me in with 4-5 of them surroundig me and no way through. It's a bad mechanic if theres no way to survive them. It's not about skill at that point, just RNG. All the bosses in the Temple need their damage output toning down massively. Having to go through 3 stages just to get 1 shotted and start again, is just painfully dull.
So, turns out the best thing to do is prey for the Wyvern boss. It's a lot more manageable thank god.
