Account linking broken
I bought the first game on the website, the second one on steam. I wasnt able to link anything at release seince the website was offline.
So the next day i linked my accounts but the result is utterly pointless: - i login and then can switch between the 2 accounts - they are not connected in any way - stashes etc. are now only on the old account - the pack i bought on steam for POE2 is only on the new account - characters are completely separated aswell - even the currency is completely separated I already contacted support but didnt get any reply. I would even be okay if they just moved the pack i bought to my old account and lock the new one. I dont even play the chars on that account either i obviously only play with the old account because of the stashes etc. I cant be the only one with this issue. And its an issue that shouldnt have been possible from the start. Last bumped on Dec 21, 2024, 6:07:58 PM

Someone suggested trying the client version. It also didnt work.
After i login i can simply switch between the old client account and the steam account on the top right. But its like its 2 completely separate accounts that share nothing, neither cosmetics, nor storage bought etc. - even the currency isnt shared. |

Nobody having the same issue? Support also hasnt answered the mail.

" If you have 2 accounts it's normal that everything is separated. If you can switch between the 2 accounts when logged then they are considered as subaccounts probably. In that case, you can launch the game and switch subaccounts In Game (same as on the website) to select the one with all your microtransactions and play from there. Hope it will work for you, otherwise need to wait like most of us, and with their email system bugged/full. (4days+ and still waiting for myself for an unlink basic feature...) Pardon my english, I'm French :p

Thats the thing - everything is split i got currency, skins and stash tabs on the old account, and currency and skins from the POE2 pack on the other account ...
I wrote them 4 days ago - still nothing. |

Any updates would be nice 5 days i dont even know if they got the mail looking at threads about mail problems i also got a weird message in junkmail about mail delivery retrys.

have almost the same problem. Didnt know that you could switch accounts or that there are even seperate accounts in the character selection and created my char on the wrong account which doesnt have any coins/tabs.

PSN here, same thing happened to me.
Had an option on login screen today which wasn't there before to switch between my account names. It had my steam name at the top, so I pressed it and switched to my PSN name assuming that was the right one since I'm playing in PSN, and now all my characters and purchases are gone, and there is no option to switch back. |

Seems like im not the only one - hopefully the support will do something at some point - its been 5 days now ...
