Linking Steam POE2 Account

I've been logging into poe2 trade with steam account. I wanted to stay logged in, so linked my steam account to my old poe1 account. now i cant trade, it keep saying i must be online. i am online. there is no way to switch accounts and trade in poe2 trade. i have spent 200 hours, not happy. no trade = no progress is possible.

also have the same issue trying to link my pre existing account with my steam. i went through the process and it says and error occurred please contact support. please help i just bought the game and want to play...

I'm playing poe2 from steam but I don't have access to all my stash and stuff I bought. I want to merge it... this seems related. No response on my ticket yet. Anyone have a solution for this or should I get a refund on Steam and start a new character?
