POE 2 - CAN'T PROGRESS NEED IMMEDIATE HELP - Large Soul Core Missing

Exaclty same problem. Large core disappear after trying to put it into stone altar. Can't progress, my character seems to miss the hole with core that doesn't possess :) locked!

HELP! Same problem large soul stone does not drop and cannot progress. HELP!

Public lobby run-through fixed it. Thank goodness!

I had this problem and resetted the instance (ctrl + click on the area) and then I could pick up the medium soul cores again, put them in place and then went back to Alva. She did nothing at first but after some time the quest proceeded.

I just ran into someone on discord #poe2-new-player-campaign-help who is softlocked with this quest bug.. He can't progress because of it.

His character does the animation for placing the core, but nothing happens, and the waterway doesn't clear for him, but when im in zone with him, I see the waterway cleared.

Help! Same thing happened to me here, I did the quest originally and had the large core in my inventory, then happened to get a Barya summon for my 3rd ascendancy. I went to do the 3rd ascendancy and it still thinks I have the large soul core but it’s nowhere to be found. It must have disappeared in Sehkema trial… when I go back to the stone alter in a3 cruel it plays the animation but doesn’t complete it. Alva is showing up back at jaquini sanctum, so I tried going back there… she has quest ! Over her… I went completely through that again, got medium soul cores, powered generators and large soul core appeared but when I pick it up, boss summons again and does not drop a large soul core or none to be found on ground or inc. Quest on my screen says to go back to the jungle and place it in the altar, but still nothing. Been stuck for 2 days now and can’t progress. I have tried resetting the instances and redoing it… appears the game thinks I have it still but the large core is no where to be found… please fix! I’m on ps5

As others said, I joined a public party and let someone with the large soul core insert it into the stone altar in Infested Barrens.

Was able to progress the quest.

Same problem, can't progress the quest, it's really hard to find people for co-op. This really needs to be fixed ASAP
