problem unlinking my steam account

Hey i bought poe 2 early access pack from steam, but accidentally used my old steam account, so i'd like it if you could help me unlink my current steam account. thanks a lot and have a nice day

Welcome to our mess lol.
Many people having the same issue, myself included, waiting for more than 3days already just for 1 click to unlink, really stupid.

Anyway, good luck and let us know if you get any reply from GGG...

haha yeah i've been playing poe 1 for quite some years, but the support team is always on point, but with the launch of poe 2 they're probably really busy so it's understandable

but since i bought the game from steam, will i not be able to play until i link my poe account? and if so, should i just make a new one for now, then when the game comes out i use the normal launcher. (i spent a lot of on my main account)

by mistake i mentioned another name of my account that have a free key and dont have any possibility to change that wrong name.

yeah at this point it would be better to just make a new poe account if you bought the key with steam, and if you bought it with the poe website your only bet is to get access to the linked steam account

Yep can't play atm, That's why I'm waiting and am a bit frustrated to wait for such a silly thing.
If your Steam account with the EA access purchase isn't linked to any other account, yes technically you can create a new account and link it to the Steam account to be able to play, but you won't have all your previous purchases/stash because they are on the other poe account. Also If you wait 6 months to 1 year until the release to get back to your old account, once the game is free, you will "lose" your characters, stuff and also the coins given with the EA Key because they will all be on the new account.

I personally prefer to wait and have everything correctly on my account.

If you bought the key directly on POE account, you actually don't need steam. You just use the standalone version, so not really an issue in this way.

ohhhh you're right i forgot about the 300 points, i guess i won't be able to play for a long time then :v

does anyone know the support team's timezone ? perhaps they're just sleeping/not working rn
