Unlink account with steam and delete it

I would like this account to get unlinked with Steam and then fully have this account deleted.
I didn't even realize this one still existed and now I cannot participate in early PoE2 because this account blocks me. Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 2:35:20 PM

I sent an email for unlink my steam account from this account but still no answer. Is this the correct way to ask?
People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.

Similar issue as many others, requesting to unlink our Steam account. Need to email the support but seems like they are having issues receiving emails as well, so most of them endup not received.
More than 3 days of waiting already for me, not a single response... Be prepared to wait :/ Pardon my english, I'm French :p

Please excuse the stupid question, but why is there not "self service" method for us to unlink our accounts? I mean if I can login to my account via steam, it's clearly mine. Why is there no button for us to just unlink the account.
I created my account 12 years ago and I since then have lost the original email address and I don't remember the password either, because I only used steam to login to my account. I can now not change the email, because I don't remember the password and I don't have access to the original email address as I mentioned. But I don't want to buy EA for PoE2 while it's still linked to an account I don't know if I'll ever get back. |

i actually have a similar issue.
as you can see this account is from 2013, i really disliked playing PoE via steam and went on to pour hours in on a PoE only account for years thereafter. A migration was done and that account has been my main account all along. This one however blocks me from linking steam on my main and I have poured a lot of support and time into my main account and dont want a separate account, and dont have access to the email that was used for the transfer back then. So really need this one to be deleted. and on my main account i just get: "You cannot add this login method to this account. You cannot merge two accounts with the same login methods." when i try to associate my early access key on that account |

"I've got 2 replies, each asking me for "more info" I already included in my original email, and then silence. The third one if I'm ever going to get one, is probably going to be another question I already answered. |
