Same here. Actually in sanctum I was the hipster who made a giga build that I made a forum post and a lot of ninja followed.

Give it 10 days. People will be zooming at end game, content creators will all have their meta/s-tier lists, and people will be blowing up bosses. All that stuff is inevitable. It's just going to take a bit longer to get there, because the game isn't completely solved yet.

A few of us are already 1shotting map bosses and any rares we see. We want to or have already rerolled since it already feels solved for us on some of our buiilds.

That´s not PoE2 for me, it´s just another version of PoE1 Ruthless. Ruthless 2.0 with some bugs. And I´m kinda enjoing it but it is a bit to soulslike for me. Oneshot or get oneshotted.

very good items are rare because less "top players" are around to farm for them?
thats what you get when you gate very good items behind aspirational content.

thats a problem with the game design. dont blame the community for the failings of GGG.

I started out with the goofiest 5 layer DoT setup on Witch.
Going even more Hipster with non-minion Infernalist.

There's one thing I haven't figure out how to get past with that class and it's the Self-Ignite when you Crit. It stop ES regen forever. It's like you have to play Armor/Evasion/HP.

Which is a shame because ES + Recoup is stronger than ever. It would be my 8th point cuz Demon Form doesn't do enough though it does have a massive dodge.
