Everytime you die you get hard locked on death screen and have to reset and start trial over , rip

I actually noticed this as well, on 'death' or running out of humility or whatever it's called. There is no 'respawn' or 'exit' option so you have to close the game and re open.

Ascendancy bugged like hell for me in couch coop. The first part of the trial just would not complete and had to boot the game to get out. Tried again 4 times and same thing. Did not get another coin even restarting the trial. Worked for player 2 and finally got it done.

When you die you have to close the game because there is no respawn prompt and no buttons do anything.

I had this issue as well on PS5. Death screen didn’t accept any inputs and i had to close the game.

Can confirm. Couch coop on PC. unable to respawn after death/fail.

could use keyboard to open menu and drop back to char select, but from controller completely unresponsive. second player is able to cycle targets with joystick, but that was it.

repeated every attempt at trial. probably 7 or 8 goes at the time.

I have the same problem and just turn off the controller.

This automatically logs you out, and then you start the controller again and can log in again.

For me, this is better than restarting the game every time.

There was also an issue with desync when playing against the boss in the final room my friend had the boss stunned with his screen but the boss wasn't stunned on my screen so he was taking damage when the boss did It's slam. This bug did only happen once so I wasn't able to replicate it however.

Hello. I am playing Xbox version and have experienced this yesterday.
When I died (ran out of honor) on boss in trial of sekhema, there is this notification pop-up screen that tells you that you died.
It can't be closed by pressing any button on a controller and you can't open any menu with a controller.
Fortunately for me, I also have keyboard plugged in for chatting in multiplayer games and by pressing "Esc" I could open system menu and go to character selection.
