Unacceptable Input Lag (Wired connection, 35ms stable)
Unless you're running the game at 120Hz, it's downright unplayable. Playing at 60hz has way too much input lag. The game needs to shed somehow like 20ms of input delay, MINIMUM.
Imagine playing Elden Ring with this amount of input lag; the game would be trash. Last bumped on Dec 9, 2024, 11:26:03 AM

just to confirm, you've gone in and set the dead-zone on the controller you are using to a low value? (you can do this under the Input options)
The default values for dead-zone are terrible, makes the character feel all floaty like there's a 500ms+ lag. It doesn't get much better with dead-zone lowered but I found it was an improvement. |

I just went into settings and tested it. It's exactly how you described it, lowering it to 0 feels a tiny bit snappier but honestly it still feels like controlling a truck :( This is not good enough for this type of game.
Btw, I play on an OLED and it has extremely low input lag. I also tried VRR on/off. Doesn't help, unfortunately. Last edited by rifraf-_-#9478 on Dec 8, 2024, 4:27:40 PM

Same here, there is a huge delay when moving character from left to right for example

No idea if it's the game, their netcode or both. I truly hope they're not using some antiquated delay based netcode on an always online game in 2024 because that would be tragic.

Two things I did that made it substantially easier on ps5:
- Set nearest gateway manually - Disable crossplay Hope this helps you out. |

Yup it sucks lol, especially facing the bosses, no matter what you change get the pause lag, youd think they have better servers come on texas :-P but any ways hope they make this a priority or at least make movement faster, i dont mind a challenge but the input lag and dodge is not fun against bosses lol.

" Tried everything. Unfortunately, isn't helping. Are you also on PS5? You don't notice any input lag? |
