How passive block works?

does PASSIVE blocking with a shield works from all sides, or only from front side? I know that active block works only from front side, but how about passive?
I tried to test, but animation is weird and I don't have an answer yet. Last bumped on Dec 11, 2024, 11:07:53 PM

Looks like that wasn't the case before today.
