[POE 2] Crash after Entering location, i crash everytime i try to log in my character

This is happening to me too, exactly the same in the Chimeral Wetlands. I was able to switch from dx12 to vulcan and get out back to town once, but when I went back (while still in Vulcan) it started crashing again.

The same just happened to me, but in Act 2, when I entered the Valley of Titans. Now, I cannot log in with my character without getting disconnected.

The same for me. Game crashes ultimately. Next, start the game, log in and I am located in Chimera Wasteland. Everything works fine till chainging location once again.

Verify game files via steam resolved it for me.

I know this sounds stupid but i just started spam clicking on the screen while trying to load in and it worked. Give it a try and see if it works.

I too have the same exact issue, cant log into a specific character, which happens to be my main this league.

I am having the same issue. Playing on ps5. Please help me fix GGG, I don't think I have it in me to start a character over from scratch and really don't want to go back to D4.

So i figured out how to get into the game! When you start loading in keep and eye on the spinning cog wheels and as soon as they stop spinning click on the screen 1 time and the cog wheels should start spinning again and load you into the area. this worked for me! Every time i didn't do this while trying to get to the Caravan my game would crash. Hope this helps y'all!

I tried logging into another character before but it never helped. This time I logged into another character, warped to a different waypoint and back.

I also clicked buttons when the wheels stopped. Not sure which did the trick but I was finally able to log into the character stuck in the wetlands.

Hopefully this helps and is not a reoccurring issue.
