Hand of Chayula doesn't apply curses
So this thing can't apply multiple curses or multiple marks, just 1 mark and 1 curse?

" I would assume the intended functionality is that it applies up to your curse and mark limit on hit. A players curse limit and mark limit both start at 1. There are ways to increase this limit. For example: - Whispers of Doom Keystone (+1 to Curse limit) - Doedre's Damning (+1 to Curse limit) - Deadeye's "Called Shots" (+1 to Mark limit) I would expect a player with using all of these should be able to apply 3 curses and 2 marks with Hand of Chayula in 1 hit. Although, the skill seems quite buggy in my testing. After playing around with gem levels I did have it applying up to my limits (2 curses and 1 mark) per hit. |

I'm level 90 with 194 Dex and 119 Int
And cannot get a Level 18 HoC to proc, requirements are character level 78, 97 Dex 97 Int I've no gems slotted. However if I use a 9 HoC it works I don't change anything except switch the HoC gems Any ideas |

Just in thr back of this, I created a new level 18 HoC and it works. Seems the gem. 2as bugged. Crazy

I feel like HoC is really bugged. I've been testing it with freezing mark and hypothermia and it feels like HoC only works at very close/point blank ranges. I'm level 61 so I tried Level 14 HoC with Level 14 of both Freezing Mark and Hypothermia, and Level 14 HoC with Level 13 of both Freezing Mark and Hypothermia, and lastly just a level 14 HoC with nothing socketed, and it only seems to hit and apply the damage and marks/curses when I am point blank with an enemy.
Sometimes it works from a distance but it feels very rare, I usually have to use it twice to get the marks/curses to affect the enemy. Has anyone else noticed this? | |
Yeah, I'm rarely seeing sniper's mark applied to the mobs I am hitting with HoC. This may be on account of the application hit critting though?
