My opinion, poe 2 frustrating and not fun

I have more than 1000 hours in poe 1, I stopped because they are determined to make the game not fun and make you suffer. In poe 2 they have followed the same path and the game feels too slow and tedious. Too many bosses and this leads to the drop being bad and you have the impression that you are wasting your time. Maps too big designed so that you waste time finding the objective. I abandon the hype ship, a disappointment. Oh, I hope titan quest 2 is better than this.

game is still early access. much can be changed yet, have you reached some of the endgame content yet or are you still in the campaign? - campaign was also slow with no gear in poe. give it time, try different stuff, would also be boring if you reach end game day 1 and after 10 days in early access people are like i finished the game when poe3 pls?

The campaign in poe lasts 12 hours for a normal person or it did last. They should leave the game as it was in Delve, I haven't played poe 1 for 2 years basically because they are going down the wrong path, taking away the fun part. They are making the game for streamers who make a living from it, not for normal people.

I mean i am concidering myself a normal person, and i still had much fun the last 2 leagues of poe, even if i only played maybe 1-2 a week AT MOST, even for a few hours, and i do belive same can be done here, the good thing about poe has always been you dont need to interact with other people to actually play, im sure they will also add something equilliant to SSF if that tickles ur fancy. - again give it time, obviously people are entitled to their opinion, and one is not more wrong than the other, but! - please give the game time and developers time to change and play around with settings, tuning and ideas/ feedback, perhabs say.. okay, EA as it is for now is not for me, ill go check back in a week, 1 month, etc.. check the patch notes game aint going nowhere for now. and if they dont change it? well you can always go back to POE1, standard, league, etc. diablo, other simular games.

also please ask/say if some of the stuff i write doesnt make sense.. it seems it turned rambling halfway through.

PoE2 is Brand new, think of learning to play a brand new game from scratch, you need to learn the game first. Also as a PoE beta player this is actually fine, little rough on the rocks but Early access is like Beta and is designed for tuning to be done, things will get nerfed and buffed. Beta PoE was difficult like this and gradually over the years got easier.

Don't stress it and enjoy the game, now is the time to try out different classes and skills as there is no need to rush to end game as it will take some time. Right now we have those experienced PoE players/streamers not even beating the campaign in the 20~ hours played. So just try and enjoy what you can and expect bugs or issues to happen as it is early access with much more to come.

I have supported PoE for a very long time. I didn't like where things were going with PoE endgame, but PoE 2 feels like its going to the opposite extreme of the direction PoE was heading, which isn't a good thing. Yes things are hard, but I rather they be challenging and fulfilling, not annoying and hollow. Right now, I feel like I am playing all the annoying parts of Dark Souls, Diablo 4, Lost Ark, and No Rest for the Wicked. We don't need boss fights to last five to ten minutes, especially in the infancy stages of the journey of leveling. Consider bringing boss health down a third to even a half what they are. Especially with an overall scarcity of tools and resources being given. The answer shouldn't be get better or grind more, not at the beginning act/acts of the game. Also, there is a reason some people played ruthless, but not everyone.

Worst game release in my 30 years of gaming.
I've never felt so let down, and I play blizzard games, so that says alot.

Guess the only ARPG left is diablo 4, POE is now a Korean souls like grind fest. Yuck. I want a fkn refund.

i agree it is significantly overtuned. It is set like this to frustrate players, they probably are working out how far they can go before people just leave the game.

My opinion, i think they have overdone it, too many mechanics that are almost a one shot, too little decent drops.

The game. is. not. fun.

That is why i bought it, to have fun. I know some may enjoy it, but it wont last, the novelty will wear off and they will also be frustrated.

But on the good side, it is a lovely game, just needs tweaking.
