Game breaking bug game won’t load and freezes after selecting character

Hi
I am playing on Xbox series x
I have had numerous crashes to dashboard and also just frozen( where I need to quit to dashboard myself) and now after 4 crashes in a row when I attempt to restart the game it allows me to pick my character, however when I have selected it the game attempts to load for a couple of seconds and then completely freezes and the gears at the bottom of the screen that signify loading are both frozen and not moving, I can still however hear audio music but nothing else is happening and my game is seemingly bricked.please investigate and rectify.
