it's a bit slow

The pace is really sluggish. Going down a dead end and having to double back at crawl speed is rather tedious.

I'm sure it gets better when you have various skills, and you've filled out your tree, but so far, up to level 9 it's just sluggish

i don't mind the slow pace if we are getting upgrades and constant loot unfortunately this is not the case trash drops and slow gameplay together is just not fun.
Agreed with all the above.
this is not poe. this is poe for console players. they can't play fast games because of the inconvenient input device. besides, they love wow effects
as opposed to clusterfluff and you can't see a thing?
I agree, needs to have a bit of speed buff as it does feel a little sluggish
that feedback i can support.
walking those big big maps even with 10% movespeed feels slow as hell. it lessen the full clear experience.
maybe i missed a movement skill in a1 but i hope i get one soon.
I don't mine the pace, but the drops is quite bad. Orb of alteration is gone. It's so hard to upgrade the equipment on campaign. I use the same weapon from middle of act 1 until 4 maps of act2. And the damage obviously not great anymore. Survivability also not good because of lack of equipment.
You guys know the answer if you think it's too slow, go back to D4. I like both styles of play and it's great to have variety.
The idea that the game has pacing and responsiveness issues - or that it feels sluggish - has nothing to do with it not being zoom zoom. The issue is that it feels sluggish, that the pacing is off, within the context of it having a slower pace. There's a lack of responsiveness and mobility within the boundaries of it being slower, not because it is slower; it feels, in a lot of ways, clunky. You can, of course, play around that clunkiness to one extent or another. It is also true that it's an EA beta, and we can expect a bunch of tuning and balance passes to resolve that clunkiness over time. It's still a fair observation, though, that is pretty easy to demonstrate objectively and is quite observable if you can look beyond the hype and cope.
MOAR PANTS, because every good game needs a pointless meme.
