POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

For the first time in months I dared to launch the game and play a couple hours. No PC lock up so far, looking promising! Sadly the texture crashing issue still persists. I do hope that's on the to do list for GGG.

Performance overall could be better, it can be a bit stuttery despite my running a pretty high end setup.
Hi to all, I haven't been playing POE2 since week 2, because of the crash issue. Has the freezing and locking computer issue been solved? I don't want to run the game to damage my PC. Thanks
I am getting an Infinite Loading screen since yesterday's patch..... I keep losing portals to my maps, as sometimes they load and sometimes they dont........

same thing for me....infinite loading screen since the last patch. 28-3. Never had this issues since the start of EA. I normally play from Canada(east) server, since the load bug appeared i tried many thing, but playing from another server like california (US) seems to have solved the problem for now. Please fix Canada (east) server if this is the causes

Seems like this still isn’t fixed? Unreal… Here’s hoping everything gets resolved in the next big update launching in 4.4. I haven’t been able to play for almost four months now, and it’s starting to feel really hopeless…

We really need more communication from GGG on this issue, especially in a thread this large. The radio silence is absurd and incredibly disrespectful to their customers.
didn't play since january because i see no evolution in this post(jsut few message bug GGG its not because your "fix"(which is not fix btwn) ;) just lazy ppl who played other game :p)
i played ff7rebirth 120H, kingdom come2 80H, avowed 30h etc not even 1 crash complete or desktop crash

yes they fix some crash because they got some logs

but as i already said
when complete freeze, the game can't catch the error and write it into log file...i dont think ggg level of dev can do it :D
and logging all action all time is no sens too
they just have to reproduce it by buying 1 machine with same prob
we send a lot of dx diag, chatgpt could find all information in common to help

they just won't make any effort for 1 problem

GGG add features and items
they don't optimize code

i saw vulkan can help, but GGG please add infos on your post 'issues in progress'
what option to choose? vulkan with this or not this etc
it could help us to have maybe a bad optimize game but not crashing

(because i already ask for a little communication about best options to choose in december2024 and still nothing
issue said crash dx12 render but vulkan is safe? you can add (vulkan is safe!)
or maybe add a --safemode arguments for the .exe?

infinite loop since yesterday

tryed dx12,vulcan no change, disabled multi treading going from 60 fps to 10-20 fps so not playable at all :S

all was fine before patch 0.11g so what next to try ????

Infinite loading screen since the last patch. never occured before. Stuck in Dreadnaugth. Char is lost in time lol.

Hope they fix this quickly...
Apparently I've made it to the NVIDIA problems camp, and cannot play the game anymore. Hopefully, the fix Jonathan mentions in the recent announcement stream will fix this however it hasn't stopped me from trying a variety of different workarounds people have tried.

Client.txt error everytime I try to reload

So far I've researched and tried many different things without success.

- PoeUncrasher

- Windows compatibility to Win8 on the executable

- Disabling overlays (Steam, NVIDIA)

- Changing graphics settings in POE2 (DX12, Vulcan, DX11)

- Disabling multi-threading option in POE2

- Removing CPU0/1 from the affinity

- Running BES and reducing the CPU -15%

- Running older NVIDIA drivers (back from Nov, Dec, etc. - Jonathan mentions this in the stream, and it doesn't seem to fix it for me which is troublesome)

- Updating BIOS and chipset (MAG Tomahawk B650 in my case)

- Ran file validation on POE2 file through Steam

Still cannot get the game running for more than 30 minutes at a time. Anything I haven't tried? Let me know.
