Is this a bot? Serious question, because these amounts of idiocy cannot possibly come from an actual, thinking, human being. No wonder we ain't getting a fix.

Rebooting from a crashed OS can brick your PC, anything, from memory training, to voltage controllers, can malfunction precisely due to the faulty shutdown and subsequent reboot, which can lead to a catastrophic failure, thus bricking anything, a CPU, a GPU, a memory unit, you name it, if it interacts with your OS it can be bricked, even if the component is factory new, with no flaws.

This is common knowledge for anyone who's a PC enthusiast, or just knows some basic hardware/software Xs and Os.

Back in the day, this wasn't a thing. But as things got more complicated with features, it is. We used to say...the more features, the more that can break. This is just proving that all over again.

So it has come to this. With all the suggested guides to prevent from crashing, ive done it all. So instead of sacrificing my PC, i just have to stop playing until there is a fix. Spent hundreds of bucks in this game and still no fix. I do not know if they are trying to fix this problem and I do not know if they care about us, players, but fk it, ill stop playing until they fix this.

Same here, about 75% chance the game will freeze the whole pc in a loading screen, and only way to make the computer responsive again is to hard restart the whole pc...

I did the most recent windows update which some suggested could be at foult here, but ofc it should work with the latest windows update, aint going to start doing any rollbacks for one game. We as the users shouldnt need to start to figure out band-aid solutions for stuff that are this game breaking...

I literally upgraded my system from R5 1600 & RX580 to 5700X3D & 3070 Dual, so I could play POE2 without much issues. Before buying, I've read comments that were recommending X3D CPU's for POE specifically as they have much bigger caches.

Unfortunately, POE2 freezes the whole system and forcing me to hard reset when I try to load a new map occasionally.

First few times it was bearable, but now I don't even want to click on game after resetting once.

Please prioritize this issue, GGG. Thank you, best of luck.

I had hard pc loadscreen freezes on 24H2 but after rolling back to 23H2 they completely gone and now Microsoft forces 24H2 update to all Windows 11 users. :D

Barely even been 12 hours since they addressed the issue again, these posts of no communication are getting so tedious, the issue isnt an easy one to fix, its early access and no matter how entitled peeps choose to behave it gets fixed when it gets fixed.

I am also experiencing this issue and it is insanely annoying, to the point I've stopped playing and check in on these forums from time to time to see how things are progressing. Conspiracy theories galore in these threads.

Anyway if you are using dx12 or vulkan game crash and freeze pc, after a lot of crashs the pump stop work on my aio i buyed another one. I ll stop to play game until this crashes will be fixed. I can understand is early acces ok but freeze pc is completly unacceptable. This was happening before christmas and still the same issue.

No messages about this kind of crash FREEZE PC ON LOAD SCREEN. Only fix minor bugs or other crashes. I think the only we can do is put a bad review on steam until will be fixed or until GGG say something especific about it.

My feel is i am ignored completly. I give my best wishes for the game i think is very good, but freeze pc is more than a normal bug or crash to windows etc. I dont care if is on 24h2 change or nvidia this only happen in POE2. Just fix it or say something abou it please.

you can set target feature update to prevent it upgrading it, will hold that update till +6 months of its official supported time and setting this will stop the popups to upgrade during that time. this method will also allow security updates to continue as normal.

if you are on pro you can do this in group policy.

if on home you will need to do it through registry.

googling 'setting target feature update in windows 11' should find you the resources to do this, think the top search even has it such that they have made a donwloaded able regedit to do it simply if you are uncomfortable with editing registry.

23H2 in the feature update
Windows 11 in the target windows OS, very simple and humane
