It is not POE. Because it doesn't happen on Linux.
It is 100% the update causing issues. I can easily prove this. Just add me on discord. I will redownload the update and you can see for yourself.

Up your CPU voltage, and your CPU ratio down a bit.
Disable C-states
Disable Speedstep
Then try again.
Also use the github tool I linked, it is failure proof, made for people like you.
Wrong. It does happen on Linux as it routinely happens to me there as well. The client crashes on loading screens all the same.

What you have to understand is I have already helped like 150 people on TFT and POE discord with your issue.
It's not new issue, was in POE1 too.
Yes. It's the update.
No, you did not uninstall it properly.
Yes, alot of people are bad at computers.
This is skill issue.

It does not happen on Linux. It's impossible.
I own netcafe and I have this game running on 150+ PCs and they all use combinations of windows or linux. And different hardware too.
Some have X3D stuff, which crashed with the update.
Easy uninstall.
Now stop coping and being stupid, go uninstall your update.
Add my discord, if you sent me video of crash, and then show me IN THE VIDEO, that you HAVE UNINSTALLED THE UPDATE, I will give you 500 euro on paypal.

Now stop speaking misinformation and go fix your CPU ratio and voltage + uninstall update.
No game can magically put your CPU at 100% usage and higher voltage. It's impossible.
It is either 1) Shader Cache not being saved, keeping CPU at 100%
2) Update KB5048667 (Which is true in this case)
3) Actual CPU overheating
4) Unstable XMP
5) Too low Voltage
6) Undervolt
7) Could be C-states or ULPS if you have AMD GPU. Disable in registry or in MSI afterburner or BIOS

Stop making claims that you obviously are clueless about. It's quite possible on Linux. Many gamers, including myself experience the crash on loading screen symptom under Linux as well. You might need to familiarize yourself with the latest AMD P-State driver and kernel scheduler changes that have been made to optimize performance on 3D V-cache processors. Stop spreading nonsense. You're not accomplishing anything of value.

I sincerely hope that the bug will be fixed in 0.1.1... I would like to enjoy the game with multi-reading. I also hope for a communication from ggg on this subject. It's serious

Close this thread. Problem is fixed.
Uninstall KB5048667.
Just people bloating the forum.
If you can't fix it by uninstalling the update, your CPU is broken.
Period.
"
It is because half of you nutjobs run stock Windows with Bloated Registry and Auto-Updates on. It will reinstall on reboot unless you use a custom ISO (Which most people with a brain do)

I will bet 500 euro that you don't have the update uninstalled. But you think you do.

That's an awful lot of uneducated rambling for the whole purpose of gaslighting people into thinking it is on their end when it is in fact, with 101% confidence, the game. The amount of "IT experts" in this and the other thread never fail to deliver.
Also for everyone reading this, don't download some random ass "update uninstallers" or "fixes" from unreputable sources or repos. Just because something is on Github doesn't mean it is safe to use. Be smart.

There's been a noticeable uptick in the "you're all idiots" posts since GGG returned from their break. Wonder if there's any connection?
