POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
Tune in to watch GGG actively avoid discussing this issue at all and instead talk about meaningless balance changes that nobody has the capacity to care about because the game crashes.
It's literally happening right now. Whether they have chat open or not people have been talking about this for long enough where this is clearly ignorance by choice lol |

" Weird, PoEUncrasher from Github completely fixed the crashes/freeze from my machine. I have almost 300 hours and two 92's mapping for a while now. 7800x3D, RTX 4080 S, 32GB RAM, Asus ROG B650E-F, Windows 11 24H2 I am using PoE2 on Steam, using Vulkan also, POE1 was more stable in Vulkan for me, so I always use that. That's maybe last thing I can try- move on steam
Even I dont believe it will sort crashes, thats the last straw for me. Can I just move my account to steam? |

" Well, there's nothing they can do about it, because it's not on their end. Game crashes are stuff they can fix, and are fixing. IF your WHOLE PC is freezing, the game is simply exposing an actual system instability. Nowaday, it is excessively, excessively rare that a user-space software without lower level access can *accidentally* cause system freeze (of course this can still happen from actually malicious software, or with bugs within software with lower-level access, such as kernel-level anti-cheat). Actual issues could be: - Running an unstable operating system version (Windows 11 24H2 IS a buggy mess, if you are on that OS version and experiencing freeze, for the love of god please just install a stable version instead) - Degraded or otherwise non-properly-functionning CPU, such as Intel 13th/14th gen CPU that were degraded and/or still running on the old BIOS versions (if you are in this case, uptate your BIOS ASAP! And if your CPU is physically, permanantly degraded, I'm sorry for you, but call Intel support and have a RMA) - Unstable Memory; This is not necessarily from overclock, XMP/EXPO/DOCP are "preset overclocks" that *should* be stable on *most* system, but are not *NECESSARILY* stable depending on your Motherboard / CPU's memory controller / number of RAM sticks (4 sticks are harder to run stable than 2) / quality of your RAM sticks. In this case, run a stress-test with OCCT's memory test (https://www.ocbase.com/occt/personal) and if it's unstable, either try the other XMP/DOCP/EXPO profile (there are 2 usually), or disable it if it's still not stable. (You could manually tune them, but if you're unaware of this issue, I assume you probably do not have the knowledge on how to do that). - Insufficient / bad quality PSU. A lot of people have systems with insufficient PSU. Some people are running a 4080 SUPER on 750W or 850W PSU, or running a 4090 on a 850W PSU / low-quality 1000W PSU. GPU can have much higher *TRANSIENT* POWER USAGE SPIKES than their rated / sustained Wattage consumption, which can trigger the PSU's OCP (Over-Current Protection) and/or damage cheaper PSU that have improper OCP. TL;DR : If your WHOLE SYSTEM crash or freeze when playing PoE2, it is NOT a game issue, you have an ACTUAL instability issue with your system, please look into the above. |

GGG tells everything , even how they got hacked:D
Why hide crash info? |
|
" That's because this is not an issue with the game. I haven't experienced this issue for almost a full month now after downgrading to Windows 23H2. I also installed the game on my Fedora (Linux) drive and it works flawlessly. The people who are having issues are either too lazy to downgrade the Windows version, or have a very specific issue related to some drivers/hardware that is not on GGG to solve |

Kazelone- only game crashing for me. and its crashing non stop. So its game issue
If you think crashes has nothing to do with poe you are wrong. Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zh7gjG9Jln4&t=82s This is on fresh windows Tried it on win 10, win 11 22H2 23H2 24H2 Last edited by civillis#3298 on Jan 12, 2025, 4:28:43 PM

" It won't. I'm having this issue on steam client. I gave up waiting for fix and unistalled game, tomorrow will contact bank for chargeback. I mean like... Thread is 1 month old, 370+ pages. No feedback at all from their side |

" Why if i forbid the game to use 2 cores out of 8 Windows no longer hangs, but the game still crashes? If it was a windows problem, it wouldn't matter how many cores the game uses. It is the game crashing that causes the system to hang. Not a single game out of the hundreds i've played this year has caused any freezes on Windows 11 except POE2. " If it's 24H2 fault, then why the hell POE2 is the only game, I'm facing issue with? Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, both with 4k graphic mods - no issues at all. Tested on tons of different games, the only game I'm facing issue is POE2. |
