POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

OS: Windows 11 24H2 (last updates)
CPU: Ryzen 7950X3D
RAM: DDR5 64GB 6000MHz
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090 (last nvidia driver)
SSD: Samsung 990 pro 2tb

This problem appeared after the last big patch before vacation ggg, I'm tired of playing with hangs, temporarily helps to reboot pc and put priority process poe 2 on real-time, but still often the game hangs, and sometimes the computer, about every hour, never had this in any other game.

99% hangs when loading a new location.

So I want to share my way of solving this problem and it works 100%. To do this, you just need to remove POE 2 from your PC. As soon as I did this, all the crashes and freezes stopped and I lost the fear that my equipment would fail, I'm happy.

I already have mine off and the game still crashing.


Same to me, having the setting off and the game crashing.
Same for me, refunded and waiting for a fix. I'm not down for some wacky fix, this shouldn't be something for players to figure out
Is there an option to refund this and all the stash tabs I bought? Don't have high hopes this is a high priority for them to fix -- what's likely is they will blame M$ for this.

Im at same position, would like to ask Refund but im not sure if i'll get refund for the support pack and the points i bought aswell. did someone get all refunded?

PoE2: A good, giving game
oh dang.. that's what i was afraid of. now i feel scammed XD
payed only for the "Early", i do not have access at all since any of the workarounds fix the game in a stable manner for me.
I should totally wait this game to be free instead of buying '-' how dumb i feel.. I've had recommended the game for lots of friends, feel mandatory to do the oposite for now till they have this fixed. And yeah, i shall never support this company again.. This is sad cause i really enjoyed my time playing while it lasted
The lack of support on this issue is just wild. This is not the way to treat paying customers. Sad to see, I had higher hopes for GGG, thought they were turning a corner in terms of player support. Clearly, my feelings were misplaced. Paying customers cannot use their product.....where is the love for the players?
