POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
" I've been doing the same honestly since I do enjoy the game and want to play it. I get it not being fixed immediately but do more than just put it on a known bug list that is pretty vague and pinning it on a windows update when others have reported they aren't even using said update. Just give us an update on the progress if any. I think I will give it a couple more days if we haven't heard anything from GGG before getting a refund since I cannot play what I paid for. |

Well, I guess we waiting for the first people who got their CPU fried then. If still no info.

HOLY SHIT HOW HAS THIS NOT BEEN FIXED YET?

Same problem here, new computer, I can play everything at max with a nvidia gtx 4070 + i5-12400F 2.50 GHz 16GB ram the game freezes the system. I can only do a hard reset, uninstalled until GGG fixes this issue, which should be a top priority instead of nerfing things, and it's the only game that does that, it's not a Windows Update issue.
The cpu goes to 100% on loading screens, disabling multithreating solves the problem but the game runs like sh1t and no, I am not going to use external programs on something that the developers should fix asap. Last edited by daniel560es#4414 on Dec 16, 2024, 3:29:02 AM

I have the same problem, newest Win11.
RTX4090 and AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, disabling MT before entering a map fixes the problem. Game runs like shit though, so I have to enable it again after loading screen. Last edited by MCPOKev#0779 on Dec 16, 2024, 3:23:35 AM

Checking this thread daily and keeping it alive

" My 9800x3d used to spike up to 93 c . Now in game I get around 55-65 C and during loading around 75-79C. Make sure to update your mobo to latest bios. In bios keep everything default except your ram if you use xmp. Do not use game mode and don’t use mobo TdP 105 watts. I had mobo at max 105 watts and saw 93C spikes in some games when loading textures/maps. Now I don’t have any spikes above 79C while loading. I redownloaded and installed again the latest AMD chipset drivers. Downloaded all available optional windows 11 updates. Run cinebench 24 single and multi thread stress test for 15 min. If your temps are higher than 84-85C you have a cooling problem. I still crash to desktop while loading and I crash to desktop when looking at the stash tab/inventory for a long time. I stopped having hard freeze crashes. 9800x3d stock X870e Taichi Rtx 4090 64 GB RAM DDR 5 6000 xmp Ssd gen 4 Win 11 up to date + optional updates Last edited by Seba2007#3315 on Dec 16, 2024, 4:04:15 AM

" Hey, bro! Could you tell me please about overall performance of your setup in PoE 2 and was the problem fixed? I'm looking to upgrade my old-ass rig into smth like your setup. Is it enough for stable 120-140 Fps on FullHD? Especially in endgame with delirium/breach |
