POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

not acceptable. i wait now since release for a patch or hotfix.

the threads about crashes and freezing is in the bug channel with the highest population .

and RLY NOTHING CHANGED. I can´t even play 2 Weekends. My highest Character is Level 30 and i had 1 week holiday.

Had one today where it just went bam straight to 100% and locked out, process lasso couldn't even stop it. But it is a lot better with the 2 core limitation, however clearly there is some massive fundamental coding issue with how POE2 is handling threads, and honestly this requires a bigger attention than the current nerf/balancing. I had a freeze during a loading screen today and i reacted by hitting ALT+F4 immediately. After about 10 seconds the PC unfroze and the game loaded in and kept going like normal. Shruge.

I don't want to install any CPU limiter. Why they're not just fixing this issue. Everyone in this post having the same problem. Why should I need to F5 this post every day to see if it's fixed or not. We can't play the game fgs they have to fix it asap.

Save some time and stop refreshing. I've been doing this for 8 days and it's worthless. Yeah, you will see more and more pages in this and other threads but in the end nothing is probably changing in the near future. I'm trying to disconnect from all this failure of an EA and I guess I will eventually know if it got fixed or not. I don't know.

To the guy who said disable multithreading will fix it, it doesnt :) i used that for a workaround but it still goes to 100% usage and now finally after a couple hours it hard froze again with multi disabled :=) nice

same thing. when change location is like 50/50 you teleport or gonna do have restart

Installing BES (Battle Encoder Shirase) and limiting POE2 by 5% solved the crash issue totally for me. I didn't have a single freeze for 2 days now.
