Hard crashing PC locks up
What could the developers be afraid of, avoiding contact with us? It is unlikely that they just want to show us their disdain, right? Maybe they are afraid of being sued? Afraid of being forced to pay for all the burned computers? What is the reason for such behavior?

" They don't know how to fix this. This game is built on the same engine as poe1, which is why the same crashes that never got fixed are happening here. The game engine is flawed at its core Last edited by CovidPatientZero#0332 on Jan 11, 2025, 12:52:43 PM

I have heard so many good things about Jonathan. So disappointed actually. There will be another podcast with him tomorrow. I hope they will say something about our problem.

Personally i don't need to see anymore to know this game/company is not for me.
Background: The two main threads on this topic began at 1am and 2am on Dec 7th and together have over 7,340 posts and 750,000 views. This is BY FAR the most discussed issue on the forums, gathering more views than the official pinned 'known issues' thread. Thousands of posts from paying customers using thousands of setups with POE2 being the common factor, and over a month later the single acknowledgment from GGG is one line blaming microsoft that was deliberately buried alongside trivial problems such as "Kopec boss checkpoint sometimes doesn't work". At this point the lack of communication from GGG actually communicates a great deal: 1. They have decided that discussing and officially highlighting the problem will do more financial damage than ignoring it because 2. They don't know how to quickly fix it because 3. They're technically incompetent having chosen to allocate resources elsewhere Perhaps one day this problem will rise to the threshold at which they consider fixing it, but their actions so far are enough for me to blow my whistle and run before getting bent over any further. The apologists patrolling these threads like GGG's night watch will object, but we all know if this were happening with any other ARPG those same individuals would be VERY vocal of such failures. Also if you're still reading, any content creator who has chosen not to cover this issue is effectively on GGG payroll. Treat them and their content accordingly. Vote with your wallet. I'm out. GL |

Bump, please update us GGG.
Can see in PoEUncrasher logs game is trying to crash every couple of load screens. |

Just got a new PC, Ryzen 9800x3d, MSI x870 Tomahawk mobo, Windows 11 - was using it fine for the whole day, decided to boot of Path of Exile 2 and it shut down then never booted up again. The mobo appeared to be completely fried... I thought it was just defective, but I started reading all these posts of similar occurrences. Very strange (and annoying to RMA my equipment).

Well... after 10 hard crashes my main pc just wont boot anymore. Gj GGG.

PoE Uncrasher works for most, not ALL, but most people, and solves the issue of hard pc freezing. Why cant they implement this fix into the game, its a pretty simple one, until they fix it on an engine level? Dont they care? Or is it their ego not allowing them to implement a fix made by some rando on the web? No idea. But this doesnt look good GGG.

" Sorry to hear! This happened to me as well but resolved after power cycling the PSU. I know it might not do anything for you but worth a try. IGN: PantsAreSilly
