Hard crashing PC locks up

7800 x3d in 21H2, sometime the game screen feeze, i have to close the game. if i wait a bit after the game freeze, it will pop a error window "[D3D12] Failed to create resource for texttures". My graphic config in game is DX12.

I'm honestly quite disappointed that nothing has been done to rectify the crashing issues.
My first post in this thread was on Dec 10th, when this thread was about ~90 pages long. I eventually decided to take a break and revisit Poe2 in 2025, where the crashing would hopefully be fixed. It's now Jan 5th and were 343 pages in this thread, with crashing as rampart as ever and no official word from GGG. |

" They don't seem to give a damn; that's why. The silence from them is deafening. Even the worst gaming companies out there aren't this bad at communicating with their playerbase. Look at all the other problems with this game and their lack of effort with lazy 'responses' brushing away peoples concerns. It's utterly pathetic that they can't even give any type of meaningful update. The entire thing is a burning dumpster fire that shouldn't have even been released this early. Same, Windows 11 version 24H2, CPU AMD Ryzen 7 7700, GPU Zotac RTX 3060 ti, using DirectX12 but after reading this thread I will switch to Vulcan for now and see if it fixes the problem.

Still happening but not as often. Used to happen a few times an hour, now its about every hour or two. No real rhyme or reason, but its always on loading screens.

" It's disheartening at best, but what else can we do? I tried to refund it on steam, but I have more than 2 hours of playtime so it was denied. So only thing left was to leave a negative steam review, report the game on steam for being sold as broken and causing crashes and take the L. |

Yeah, I'm going to give them until Wednesday to have made an update (not a fix even, just a communications update) for this issue. After that it's probably time to give up and give a negative review warning of bad customer service :/
