So guys added a Leveling charplaner you can check it out in the leveling description, you want to level with Spark on your multi targets and ember fussillade and SRS on your single target, really strong an mobile

I was just looking over your build and trying it for myself, its pretty good - also Energy Barrier and Grim Feast are not supported skills.

Not sure why you are going all those Energy shield nodes when you have Mind over matter selected. 2 hits and you are out of mana with no regen.

" spark is your first gem that you will get and I also have a lvl setup before you get archmage before lvl 58 with a charplaner so dont know what you are talking about :D |

Updated the leveling charplaner with some early lvling before archmage setup with Solar orb and SRS + Arc for your single target, with this leveling setup you should be fine for your setup until you can get archmage

Can you help me understand how MoM and arcane surge work in general and when I want to take MoM? I tried to take it early but with how often I get hit, it just left me unable to cast spells. I know arcane surge comes from ascension but I don't understand if the two interact at all.

I haven't tried your build yet because I am currently levelling a Ranger build blind but once I've completed the Acts with that I will definitely try this build.
It looks good and I like the idea of it! Just posting to hopefully give you some encouragement :) Good luck making the build better and more fleshed out! Yes.
