Witch - minion army build [asking for tips/reviews]

im lvl 50, the moment i got reaver and the sec skillgem in the start of act 3 the game changed to a true massacre everything for me^^. currently have 7 of them and the hellhound and they shred bosses in under 30 sec. for trash i run corpseexplosion and bonestorm. minion revive faster is importan and alot of hp/resi nodes for them. cant w8 to test out how the brutes are.

My problem is that everything that hits and not cast needs a lot of accuracy on gear. you need really a lot of it.
Even with the nodes its not easy to keep the Arsonists on top. So the question is can i utilize frost mages in a good way so clearing speed is fine. i gave away a bit of damage for more survivability already but the damage is still okay. Has someone tested them and can provide details? For you guys info, a couple of ice mages linked with scattered shot is freezing everyone, including bosses well enough, cool to see a lot of bosses have different animations when they get frozen instead of just standing in place
I've seen a lot of people trying to put the instability on unearth or SRS, but I don't think they even proc, since they need to reach 35% HP to explode, but they die in 1~2 hits. Infernal Legion prob a waste on them as well if the objective is to proc the instability, it takes too long to reduce their HP |

I am quite successful with my current build:
- frostmage > faster casting > shattershot > controlled destruction - frostbomb > increased aoe - coldsnap - frost curse usually i just spam the frostmage command with frostbomb and clear with coldsnap. against rare/bosses i keep the curse and exposure up frostmages are keeping everything frozen starting with a3 i try to add additional melee skeletons for offering so far i killed a2 boss within a minute… but the first act was… brutal to be fair because i didnt know how to craft whatever supportgem i wanted Last edited by Yuzlol#0653 on Dec 10, 2024, 8:55:59 AM

" I second this. Campaign maps melt quickly to Arsonists, without me having to do anything. I use the Skeletal Warriors from the sceptre as my meat shields (with Meat Shield support). If it's safe, I'm spamming Flame Wall with SRS, which I put on my RMB. I have Flammability + Pain Offering to help my minions vs bosses. Vs most bosses, you can just walk in circles while your minions melt it down very quickly. Feel free to let me know if you want the guide for it. I can post it. |
