We literally have only two settings that affect performance: (shadows + global illumination/simple shadows) and (render resolution + reconstruction method). Trying out all combinations takes about a minute. Also when you change render little window with frame rates and other stats appear, so you don't need choose only with "feels".

Is it really the case that PoE2 is not playable on XBOX Series S? I've tried to play with the settings, but even if I put those to low the game is slow 40-50 FPS max, rendering looks like little bit better Diablo 2 and gets blurry when have 3-4 monsters to kill and for example use flame wall.

I thought that it is optimize for each platform, but for XBox Series S it's unplayable.
FSR + Balanced + 60hz is very playable

My biggest issue is input latency but I think this is the server lag from launch and not graphics.

It would be waaaaaay better to fix low fps. PoE1 runs so much better and so smoothly, that PoE2 looks very very bad in comparison. I’m playing on Xbox series s and getting 27-40 fps is not a good UX. I tried to lower graphics settings but the game becomes absolute pixel mess on low settings with 60 fps. PoE1 in contrary looks awesome and runs super fast with occasional fps drops in very crowded situations and spells. PoE2 by default gives me around 27-40 fps and goes lower in combat. I understand this is Early Access, and I hope the game will be optimised better for actual release.

I like the game in general. Though orbs drop very rarely, and yellow gear is also very rare to drop, but in the interview developers said they would fail if a player cannot spend many exalted orbs by the end of act 1.
Exactly, in the lowest setting it works more less good, but the experience and fun from game is very low :/
The screen tearing for me on the series s is the main issue. The unscaled option that defaults to your tv or monitor resolution is set to 1440...i dont have a 1440 output deveice, both are 1080 so screen tearing is constant
I changed the upscale mode from Bilinear to NIS and and it looks much better.
I was going to make a post complaining about Series S performance, then I noticed the massive performance jump when you turn off global illumination.

This still has a long way to go because the dynamic resolution kicks in very hard on 60 FPS mode and this game plays way better on 30fps.Also, maybe a bit my fault with having a series S on a 60 inch TV but I am in my parents house and their TV is amazing, probably if you play on a monitor is fine.

Also IMPORTANT choose manually in the menu screen on the gameplay options the server you wanna connect to I was having a terrible time because teh game auto server connection was connecting me to Frankfurt and I am in Argentina.

This is what helped it look better for me
