" yes he was he was the biggest poe streamer by far he had several thousand viewers all the time while second biggest streamer had few hundred what are you even talking about you dont even realize how big is advertising and marketing for a game that kripp did "just media coverage" yeah you dont realize that games without good advertising and marketing wont even sell their game even if the whales gave that company milions without advertising and marketing that game would died anyway Last edited by Deviant#8289 on Dec 5, 2024, 5:46:04 PM

"Same, it was 100% Totalbiscuits that put POE on the map for me. I was going to play anyway, but his predictions about the game I fully believed in and convinced me to support this game on a level I would never do for other games. EDIT: Charan changed his name a long time ago. I have no idea how active he is, but I'm sure he's around. Last edited by Metronomy#6891 on Dec 5, 2024, 5:48:15 PM

" 1. Twitch was in its early days. 2. YouTube was a much larger platform, and the game was being covered there by quite many, even a German Let's Play channel that actually got me into the game, and they had 150k subs back then, which was not small for that time. While Kripp worked closely with GGG and was obviously a very good player, "exposure" doesn't pay the bills and never has. " Mate... this is literally my third account. I've been following this game since 2011 and first started seriously playing it in April 2013. Pick a better strawman. Gaming PC: Win 11, 7600X3D, RTX 4080, 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, 7000 MB/s SSD, 850W, 3840x2160p 120Hz

" Oh, I know who Kripp is, I even said so. But, believe it or not, streamers are not as important as you seem to think they are. Like I said, at the time Twitch was in its early days and YouTube was the big thing. And the game was being covered a lot more on YouTube and other media, far more than Kripp's videos combined. We get it, you are a Kripp fanboy and that's ok, but please stop. Gaming PC: Win 11, 7600X3D, RTX 4080, 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, 7000 MB/s SSD, 850W, 3840x2160p 120Hz

" streamers are important becuz they give exposure to a game if a games isnt well advertised and marketed you wont attract any people if you dont attract any people you wont get the whales for your game you clearly dont know how any of this work and thats ok but please stop Last edited by Deviant#8289 on Dec 5, 2024, 6:06:52 PM
