Charan has given up on being Charan, and prefers to generally be just a player these days. Whether or not he's playing the EA for PoE2 doesn't really matter, as the man has no intention of being a PoE-lebrity again.
Who?
Still posts here. Account name has changed. I won't reveal the account name though... He changed it for a reason, whatever it may be.
ah the name that brings back memories nice that someone still members
i remember when he thought he could stop playing poe and focus on wolcen ;)

pretty sure he'll be around. poe2 will be the new standard for arpgs. no way he's not gonna want to be a part of it!

when i think about who's winning in "moments of thinking about quitting poe", charan is gonna win. but i guess it's a close one.

charan has been the only guy who made me translate words i read here ... and, imo, we share the same fascination about early poe, except he invested too much to keep a healthy distance to the drug that is poe :)
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

That's underselling it by a lot. He was one of the whales who basically kept GGG from closing down. I know that he at the very least bought the $10k Supporter Pack back in the day, and has shilled out tons more. He might be a bit eccentric, but you can thank him for being one of the few key supporters that allowed us to have the game we know today.
