Winnions as Infernalist or Gemling

Is quite simple since i seen some leaks.
Early Infernalist late game Gemling legionnaire just cause u get spirit from other unique peace of gear more specific chest armor.
Also ppl that say the dog from Infernalist is free, u forgot to add that will eat support gems that u can't use on other skills.
Well, early game the dog needs to be tanky. The other minions need damage.
Without spectre i fell that minions will have a weak start.

maybe even the bagman with extra power to small nodes might be super strong.

More than likely the boost to smaller nodes will be the nodes within the Titan Ascendancy itself and not across the entire passive tree. If it affects the whole board it will be hands down the most OP ascendancy we've possibly ever seen.

If thats the case these will be the most worthless 4 ascendancies point ever
atm you don't really need Beidat's will as summoner. I assume you gonna have around 4k life endgame. -25% reserved = 3k life.. Its 120 spirit
You will get more spirit from gear lategame.
So i would just go Hounds> then Pyromantic pact + Seething body + Altered flesh for some tankiness.

For minions: Hounds with supports which scales fire/fire dot dmg + minion life, 1-2 spectres with auras/buffing, 1 minion core skill with all the best supports.
The rest is aura and curses, maybe also 1 skill to self cast. Dunno yet.

Will see how it goes.

Anyway I find Infernalist just more fun to play rather than Gemling eventho it might not be as good as it looks in the lategame.
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.

Ya just having a good time is a good plan. Srs does seem fun so I may look at it. I'm running Gemling on start. I think being able to use 2 supports of the same type will be good for minions and if the quality and skill levels are as important for minions as in PoE I think this is the best choice endgame for scaling. Should be fun to find out though!
You're losing 20~ or so passive points travelling to Minion country on the tree. If the Ascendancy is good enough to justify that, I doubt it will stay that way for too long.
I don't think you can really say you are losing points by traveling. You're going to want those points anyway. The real question is whether you go strength or dex, which depends on what weapon you plan to use and what stats you want.

I think Gemling is going to be the default minionmancer until we get a truely dedicated minion ascendency at launch. We get A LOT of new skeleton, and the 3 extra skill slots is going to be crucial, not to mention the shared supports.

You'll just have to bank your 2nd skill tree until you have enough points to reach minions. Your other skill tree can be focused on your primary attack skill.
