Unable to add email to PoE Account (already linked to Steam)

Same. I'm sitting here waiting for a verification email to link my steam account. I also went through the process 2 or 3 times so I imagine the first email I get won't be valid anyway lol.

The whole thing's been a massive headache.

Finally got an email to link my steam account, clicked it and it says it has been removed. Waiting on a new email, its been all day.

Warum habt ihr euch nur für Steam entschieden.. es ist so nervig, bitte macht eigenen Launcher wie POE1.

I'm still running into this exact problem - why is this still a thing?

Similar problem here. Bought a supporter pack on the website. My POE account is the same email address as my Steam account. Redeemed the key on Steam and installed the game. Launched, tried to login, got a message that I don't have access to the game. Ok, probably because my POE account and my Steam account need to be linked. On the POE website, I go to Manage Account and under "Secondary Login" -> "Steam", I click the CONNECT button. I get a browser window asking me to sign into POE through Steam. I click the "Sign In" button and then I'm back on the POE website staring at a message that says:

"YOU CANNOT ADD THIS LOGIN METHOD TO THIS ACCOUNT."
"You cannot merge two accounts with the same login methods."

I guess we're just out of luck until they fix this.
