Path of Exile 2 Early Access Pre-Download Information

"
I don't understand why people are so anxious to pre-download the Steam client as well. Worst-case scenario, you'll start on Dec 6 with a standalone client and when the Steam client finishes downloading just switch to it anytime. Isn't it a possibility?

People hate cluttering their systems with extra launchers even if it's temporary. Moreover, people love to track their hours spent in PoE and even find pride in displaying it on their Steam profile pages. Finally, not everyone can just nilly willy allocate another ~100GB of free space on their systems, or they play with limited data plans etc.
3.14 - Removed Harvest from the game.
Noice :)

Thank you for clarification ♥

For the guy saying we get what we had coming to us doesnt get steam players had no choice of EA keys. If u paid and played on steam and got an EA key, its for steam only.
That is a bad take, because u have no idea of what ur talking about. Ive played POE on steam for about 8 years and i qualified with enough money spent for an EA key, for steam, not the standalone client. Now i may be able to start on the standalone, ive yet to hear anything from GGG that verifies this.

I played through stand alone and got a free key but i can redeem it through steam if i want. Does it not work in reverse? That's really stupid if that's true

Bought it on steam. Can I still play using the standalone client?

Yes, GGG grants your account access to EA. The steam key is just to install the client :)
Nobody cares about consoles lemao. When is steam preload ready? I get it, you guys don't want to blow up the servers at launch, but over 100GB can take days for lots of people. 2 days is a good middle ground imo
I hope predownload becomes available to steam too!
PLEASE MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR PRE-DOWNLOAD ON STEAM otherwise its a bit unfair to give it to xbox and stand alone client while others miss out!!!
Plz allow steam pre-download too!! For the love of god make it happen.. I've never used the standalone and I'd like to keep it that way..
Excited for the early access!
