Does logging out also brick maps in PoE 2?

Personal view... I think they will have to allow TP on boss fight at least for hardcore players. That or HC will be unfeasible.

I logged out while in a map to go eat and when I returned the run was failed. Really wish it stated this in the text on map descriptions. I've had crashes before while mapping and never had an issue, the game left portals up for me, but in this instance the run is canceled.

So, be cautious and teleport to town before logging out.

I just did a breach, fps tanked to 15 and I got surrounded by 100 mobs, had a few splinters drop so I decided to test logging out (to char select screen), my map remained, the drops were still there and when I entered the portal I was at the start of the map and not exactly where I was when I logged out. I even saw the breach closing as I ran back to where I was when I logged out.

So I escaped death and got a few drops without bricking the map
