They basically said they will give it to us within 2 weeks (Which is pushing us right up until release) In my opinion this is a bit of a slap in the face to long time supporters because it runs the risk of not getting the key in time of being there on the ground floor. They should at the very least guarantee a key by the first or second of December and start ticket support from there. The idea that anyone that paid over $480 in lifetime purchases not getting access when someone gets it instantly for $30 is kinda mrrrrph. but what ever, their business if they want to make their lifetime members feel devalued thats their choice.
The distinction between a new purchase and a past purchase is the key can be applied immediately on purchase of a new pack.
The retroactive key application requires crawling through millions of account records to make sure you don't give it wrongly to the account. This takes a lot of time and always has (speaking as a developer).
And that is an understanding stand point to a degree however that is a failure on their part to start the process earlier. It's a poor excuse if anyone gets the key late, that is on them for starting too late.

You are complaining about a hypothetical situation and getting really mad about it and using phrases like "slap in the face.." It is just in your head man. You are getting angry about stuff you made up yourself.

Its a hypothetical situation they created and supported with their own statements. The Early Access Launch is 2 Weeks away, the keys are given within a 2 week period, They stated they only want tickets for those who did no receive keys until after the Early Access launch which validates the possibility of such a situation to occur as they themselves recognize that possibility. You can defend their stance all you like and protect a corporation thats fine. But at the end, your stance is one against the consumer who does have a right to be concerned.
