Linux support for Poe 2
Hey, can someone already say something about play on Linux with proton?
I buyed my access yesterday, and I also use Linux and play via Steam(POE1). Hope it works! |

Linux Mint has not had any problems so far. And I suspect that not much will change

Normally it should run. Im full of hope this evening. At least Poe has no stupid kernel level anti cheat stuff.

There is a report on reddit that with Nvidia, you need to change the renderer to DX12 (via a file edit since it doesn't launch).

If this game worked in Linux It'd probably be enough for me to drop Windows all together.
Proton support would probably be fine as well. I haven't spared a second after release to test proton. Hopefully GGG doesn't develop their game in Windows, can you imagine writing code in windows ><, so maybe both sides win?! |
