Never play PoE in my life, but last two week only what I was do is watching PoE 2 content
So of course I was hyped as f*ck, but today after buying support pack my happiness gone.
I find out this message in "Path of Exile 2 Early Access" on my profile:
"Path of Exile 2 Steam Client Key
Sorry, these keys are currently unavailable. Please check back soon!"
My steam account over 12 year and I play all games only there...
Steam key any good people? I would be truly grateful 😭
did you buy the key through the PoE Shop, or through Steam? if you bought through steam, its already taken care of and on your account, if you bought through PoE Store, you'll have to wait till EA starts and grab your key when it comes up available.
Either way you should be able to just play via the standalone client if you wish.
Is there a reason people have to play via Steam, or is that just preference?
I thought the Steam activation keys might have run out and gone...
Because my friend, who also bought a Supporter Pack from the GGG store, received his Steam key right away.
He purchased it about a week ago, while I bought mine yesterday.
That’s why I assumed that since I didn’t get a key, it must mean they’re out of keys, and the game can only be played through the GGG launcher now T_T
Playing on Steam and having the game in my Steam library is mostly just a personal preference, yes.
But all my friends are on Steam, and it’s the easiest way to communicate and see each other’s progress.
Plus, Steam tracks playtime and has so many convenient features.
I’ve been using Steam for over 12 years, so it’s probably a mix of habit and loyalty to Lord Gabe at this point :D

I've been a Path of Exile player since 3.4 or 3.5 haha, but I've returned to studying, and the situation is complicated. It's a shame that fans, for whatever reason, can't enjoy it without paying. I hope they open access to everyone soon, because in the end, after the storm, we will continue to support the game for years. Thank you GGG for the years of fun we've had and will continue to have.
Studio and Devs still have to earn their lives, there is no shame in that
It's just an Early Access... The game will still be free at the official launch
Worst case scenario, it is just all about patience

Do I need to buy separate keys for PC and PS5, I want to play both here and there on EA?
they already said that you would need to get a different key for each platform you want to play on, PC, XBox, or PS.
can you link for oficial ggg answer?

Can I purchase new Supporter Packs on Consoles?
You can buy Early Access Supporter Packs on Xbox now. You can claim all microtransactions in Path of Exile 1 and you will also get access to downloading Path of Exile 2. Please note that you will not be able to launch and play that client until the game releases in Early Access on December 6th.
The Twilight Order Foil Reliquary Submission is only available for purchase in the in-game store after you have purchased the Liberator of Wraeclast Supporter Pack.
Supporter Packs for Sony realms (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5) will become available on December 6th PST when Path of Exile 2 launches in Early Access.
thats from the official FAQ back on page 1...

Steam has strict limitations on how many keys a developer can generate(for selling out of steam). I’m sure the issue will be resolved after some time...

If I purchase an early access bundle with an additional key, am I able to gift that key to another platform or is it limitee to the same platform the bundle was purchased?
My goal is to play on console until I can buy the new GPU releases in January while using my PC for trading.
I was wondering if it was possible to buy the 160 dollar bundle on console and redeem the additional key provided on steam on the same account

About a decade ago I purchased to get into the closed beta for poe1 - this situation doesn't seem any different as it is consistent.
I believe closed beta for poe1 had only 2 acts released and I was happily surprised to see act 3 during my play through. For poe2 there seems to be much more game available and your coin can go toward whatever makes your game play more fun or functional.
I don't think its fair to point out the developer for a paid closed beta, but I am a little concerned at why it took so long to get to this point for closed beta to be available and why it was pushed back last minute.
