POE2 Steam/Standalone Launcher

hello everyone,
is there a standalone download for the game or is it only a steam download. i still dont have connect my POE account with steam. dont like that. and is there a date when we can preload the game? thanks alot and have a nice week! Last bumped on Nov 24, 2024, 2:07:19 AM

" They haven't released this info as far as I know. It is still a ways off so I doubt downloads will be available until a day or so before release. |

Hey Nichelle,
for some reason the key i purchased says its a "Steam Activation Key". Can i not enter the early Access with the Standalone Client? Do i have to use steam? In my Account info it says: "Early Access Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access! Thank you for your (or your benevolent friend's) support! Path of Exile 2 Steam Client Key Third Party Key: XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXX This key can be redeemed on the Steam store. Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away." I also dont want to play it through steam. I want to use the Standalone client. |

You don’t need key for GGG standalone client. When the game releases log in to account and download client from POE website.

" You mean that if you have the key from staem or from the page, you can play both on the steam and on the stand alone (one key allows for both in the same time)? |
