Neither game is nearly fun enough to ignore all the feedback regarding unskippable campaigns.
" They said the same about Auction houses and they have been wrong about both. I quit playing PoE1 in 2018 after 3200 hours precisely because having to play the campaign 1 more time was too much. I may think PoE is the better game but getting to skip the campaign ensures I'll be back for every season in D4. |

Yea they ignored it because its a bad feedback that simply say "I don't like it, change it for ME".

"Yet there is an entirely new game coming up that still doesn't let you skip the campaign. The death pentalty is also still there, in fact it is slightly more punishing in PoE 2. Maybe, just maybe, it is time to take the hint. Campaign skip is not happening. Thankfully. |

Why do people expect to be able to skip everything de devs worked on for at least 5 years? Yeah you don't, they wany you to play trhough the story, they also tried to make it different every time you play through it etc etc. Altoholism is mostly only for streamers anyways.

" I wrote arguments and you decide to focus on the strawmen instead. So? www.twitch.tv/marloss_live

i come from a totally different approach
let players enjoy league content on standard, but lock all challenge/challenge rewards/kirac pass progress to be unobtainable on standard. this bypasses the entire "i dont want to go through campaign anymore". i m tired of working my ass off every new league and i dont even know if i want to play poe1 anymore once poe2 hits. but having new leagues also available on standard could entice me back to poe1. " This a good suggestion for those who like to do league content but do not care about challenges. |

" Right, but they could make the campaign more dynamic and more fun and that'd draw you back? IGN : Reamus
