Essences are not dropping

I also had a run-in with this bug. Interesting idea about the mobs being "replaced" by the Allflame mobs; that could definitely be it.

That being said, this is a reoccurring bug that I have noticed (and reported) over the past several leagues, especially when using Asenath's Touch gloves. It seems like sources of explode or corpse destruction may have some sort of effect on disappearing essences.

It is ridiculous to claim that this is working as intended just because the mobs are being replaced. It is clearly a bug. Now whether GGG will devote resources to fixing this issue is another story with POE 2 coming so soon.

I have run into this issue a lot as I'm playing ssf and need to farm essences. even if the mob is being replaced it is still placed in the map as a essence mob and should drop essences period. and this has been an issue for some time and should have been addressed already.
