as per this post: Rules: Your ascendancy is randomized but if you hit lv90 you are allowed to randomize another. You must transfigure only 1 red/green/blue gem and you are ONLY allowed to use one of those 3 for your main skill/damage.

I have a question about the rules. Let's say the skills we get from lab, don't match our passive tree. Are we allowed to start a new character to fix our tree, or do we need to try to fix it as we go?

You can have as many characters of your ascendancy as you want
