Instances bug - Necro Settlers

I'm not attacking you, buddy, I'm calling out your obvious entitlement. To defend GGG, I'd rather they spent their time fixing the problems than appeasing complaining on the forums. They posted the message saying there's maintenance, so maybe we could be patient adults and just wait it out.

i agree, information would be nice.

This isn't a single server per instance, its a clustered pool of servers that are being worked on in unison, and load balancing.

Whatever the bug is, obviously isn't a simple issue to address, and given the fact that these servers are being operated across a variety of continents means that the patches are going to take some time to draft, and deploy.

Be it to Azure, AWS or self-hosted servers in datacenters on a given continent.

Quit complaining about it, and join a discord to hang with some buddies.

Why are the servers going down? Why is it taking longer than the 10 minutes it claims it will take?

Approximately 10 minutes is there placeholder for not knowing exactly how long they'll be down.

First downtime was presumably due to a bug causing chat messages to spam repeatedly until the affected players were muted. I didn't open chat after the restart, so I'm not sure if their first fix failed or if something else catastrophically bad was found.

I cant log any chars ?! 0.5 after the loading screen everything freez and gg wp ?! Stucked on the loading screen and i just need to alt f4 ?!
