MTX/Suporter packs buyouts have been delayed forever and i will not recommend this game or poe2 to any other friends( all of my friends that play feel exactly the same about ur decisions btw ) wanting to try, some of us only play Poe as main and only game ( over 10.000 hours in ) and instead of making things better u do the oposite and ruin this for us.I would rather play d3 then login for Poe2 early acces or this "EVENT" or go back tot WOW as main and only game after this announcement.-Few customers here that don't count i'm sure but we are moral people and what we say sticks:)

Thats like the worst decision of all time, if you guys are gonna postpone 3.26 to February then at least give us a crazy fun league or something. Last time we had such a huge delay we got Legacy league, the most fun league of PoE!

After many days of internal discussions, we made the decision to not launch the 3.26 expansion for Path of Exile 1 this year.

This decision makes me very sad. Already a POE2 early access is prioritized over what could have been perfectly timed POE Christmas league - not like the disaster last year.
Settlers with lanterns as bonus seems like a very low effort "goodie" to try to get ppl to play over christmas and spend money ingame...probably not gonna happen.

With the edit of what modes are included in the event coming in nov im still confused if softcore trade is a thing because its not mentioned for whatever damned reason.

I don't thing they give a rat's ass for our opinion. If they did, we would be preparing for poe1 league this days and reading patch notes right now :)

I'm with a lot of people saying that I'm extremely disappointed with this decision.
You introduced PoE2 saying it would be integrated in the core game that me and so many others love. Then you went and said that PoE2 would be a separate game, changing the core foundation of the game and our mindsets completely (for me for the worse). And you forced PoE2 down our throats while announcing new leagues with twitch chat screaming to introduce the new PoE1 league.
That would all be okay since you promised us that there would be separate teams working on both games and that you would be able to make this work without mishaps regarding leagues and timelines. That's the second promise of many that you broke.
We're now stuck in a league for 7 months without new content - one league lasting longer than the other, the closer to PoE2 we're getting. We used to have a new end game every year previously.
I do not care when PoE2 comes out. I understand there are people who do, but instead of ruining the experience for the guys that love this game (PoE1), and that made PoE2 possible to begin with, don't neglect our passion that we have for this game by making PoE1 a worse game just to implement new things that are completely seperate from what we love.
I dont understand it. You have the best game ever created in this genre - by far! What is the reason for all of this? I simply dont get it. If PoE2 becomes a great game - great! - but take your time to develop it, because there's is no rush a long as you bring out new content and patches for PoE1. Now we're instead at a standstill where PoE1 gets less content, leagues get longer, and where promises about PoE2 keeps breaking - It's a lose/lose situation, and on top of that, we lose interest in both games simultaneously.
I hope you take the time to read all these messaged in this forum until 2025, and really try to understand what it is that your fanbase wants, because this is not it.

By Standard they meant softcore, they call it this way often during announcements, interviews etc.
