I'm really desperate and feeling depressed.

Just play something else? That's how it goes in the industry, it's not GGG exclusive. Things rarely go as planned. That's why you don't schedule PTO around game releases. You'll be fine.

Everyone is different, but I don't play other things -- I play POE for 2-6 weeks depending how great the LEAGUE MECHANIC IS (I do not play core content anymore, i'm sick of ALL of it)
To the OP: these announcements/delays should be a lesson to you to schedule a game around your life, not the other way around. A huge amount of posters in this forum need a metric ton dose of reality and introspection.

Hopefully, the 3.26 update will be ready on time, but if not, maybe you can use those free days to explore something else you enjoy or even pick up a new hobby, just to keep busy.
for a game....?????????????????????????????????

I don't get people who balance their life around video games, release dates, patches etc. No way. Don't you guys have something better than just sitting on chairs 24/7 playing grindy game burning your time for nothing? If PoE 2 has to be delayed it's ok, let the developer to fix things to make the product better. Not a big deal. Let them to take their time.

The total hysteria and depression (seriously?) with the delay of unfinished game with very limited content is something I never understand.

The messed up part is him not being able to change his TO back. A smart person wouldn’t have even put the request in given the amount of delays already but what’s done is done.

There’s nothing inherently working with scheduling TO for something that’s part of your life, it’d be the same if he had a wedding that got canned, your understanding of it is irrelevant in this context but again, what’s done is done.

I wouldn't put a wedding in the same category as a small early access beta for a video game (or games in general).

Five years of waiting, a plan set in stone,
He scheduled his off days for time spent alone,
A brand-new adventure, a world to explore,
Excitement was building, too strong to ignore.

Alas, came a message, so callous and grey,
The launch was postponed, the dream swept away,
His hope drifted quickly, like fine scattered sand,
'Why would they do this? I don't understand!'

A train ride away, in a place once called home,
Two parents stood waiting, where once he had grown,
They cheered and fist-pumped and hollered with glee,
With launch day postponed, their two becomes three.

Im calling it: you stole most of that from somewhere!(good laught still, i thank you for making my afternoon)

Anyway, its probably time for the OP to go out a bit, maybe use social medias to find online friends and over time try to go to some social place and try to meet real peole
Even if the OP is like me and have very few interests, try to find a gathering place for those interests, maybe go to a gaming spot, maybe even a gaming convetion. Or do like our poet suggested and meet with family, maybe ask some parent to introduce you to some os their friend(s)?

In Wraeclast's night, where exiles roam, An exile ventured, far from home, Into the Labyrinth's endless dome, They sought a prize, a hidden tome.

From Izaro's hand, the verses stole, A daring thief, with lofty goal, But now they feel a gaping hole, For stolen rhymes have tainted soul.

In sorrow's grip, the exile dwells, With borrowed lines, their heart now swells, A humorous twist, their tale compels, Of labyrinth's theft and regret's cold spells.

I have scheduled all my annual leave from November 15th to 22rd and it cannot be changed.

So, can I play 3.26 on November 15th?

You can imagine how frustrated I am:

1 day: Take the train home and take my parents to a fancy restaurant for dinner, and buy them some gifts.

2~5 day: Nothing to do, I don’t have any friends or pets to accompany me for 5 days in mid-November, they all have work to do.

Three weeks later: Busy with work and most likely only have one day on the weekend to play POE2.

Please let me enjoy 5 days of POE new content, whether it is 1 or 2!

For your long term health, would you consider examining the question as to if and how an addiction may be playing a role in your life in this context? Not wanting to overstep any perceived boundary. You are, however, exhibiting many of the signs that counselors would consider warnings. If you need help, this public forum may not be the best place for that, but could be a start. I live in Germany, where access to institutionalized help is not difficult, but that may be different where you are. Feel free to PM me if you need help or want to talk
